Full list of my videos on YT

Hey guys!

Most of you probably know me as a beauty guru from YouTube. Two posts back I explained my reasons why my videos became private so if you don't know, but you're still wondering why, than check it out.
I noticed that many of you were unsure of what to do, how to watch videos... So I'm going to explain it all again and I hope this time everything's gonna be clear.

First of all, I'm not making new videos anymore because school makes me busy mostly all the time. So you won't get to see anything new on my channel. But you still have an option to watch all of my previous videos and here is how: you tell me which video you'd like to watch, I send you the link to it, you can watch it =) Simple right? But concider that every video is limited for 25 people to watch it. So if you won't watch the video than don't ask me for a link because there are many people who loved watching my videos and fond them helpful so be fair and don't take their chance to watch my videos again.

I hope I cleared things out, but if you still have any questions just let me know and I'll come back to you with a replay. =)

Makeup: Paris Haute Couture spring/summer 10

Hello!

Last day I watched Paris Haute Couture for spring/summer 2010 on FashionTv. And of course I payed a lot of attention to the makeup of the models. I must say that overall I was pleased with the makeup, although there were some examples of a bad taste. I'm only going to post the ones I remembered, as I watched a lot of them plus it's difficult to find pictures online. So here is what I think about some of them.

First of, I really want to put out the Valentino's makeup

Paris Haute Couture: Valentino spring/summer 2010 collection

When I first saw these models wearing that awful looking makeup I thought: Omg I feel so sorry for them. Okay, let's say that it's an original idea but that doesn't make it any better. The makeup made the models look like zombies. They really looked creepy, if I saw them in a lonely street I would probably scream and run away. And as for the models that wore that bandage over their eyes, good for them. Although it didn't look very appealing to me, it was sill much easier to focus on the clothes (which I didn't like at all as well). Well, I think that the person who picked out the makeup for Valentino's show should seriously think of visiting a beginners makeup class.

Next up, Chanel.

Chanel's spring-summer 2010 Haute Couture fashion collection,

As for Chanel, I really liked the makeup. Classic sort of Pin-up look, red lips, black liner on the lid and beautifuly contoured face with a touch of blush on the cheeks. It also goes really well with the clothes but I don't like the hair at all. It reminds me of cotton candy somehow...But, sticking to the makeup, great job. =)

Moving on to Elie Saab

Paris Haute Couture: Elie Saab spring/summer 2010 collection

I've never heard of this designer before but I loved the creation, as well as makeup and hair. The makeup itself was very sophisticated, elegant and chic; healthy looking skin (I suppose they wore a dewy finish foundation which goes great with the entire look), bronzer and natural looking eye makeup as well as lips. It looks very clean and it's great for any occasion, from every day to a business meeting. Also the hair looks very elegant and completes the whole look. Great job here as well =)

Next, Dior

Paris Haute Couture: Christian Dior spring/summer 2010 collection

At the beginning of the show, the first models had like really scary looking white face and I thought that this is going to be a disaster. But it wasnt', as the show went by the models wore only a bit lighter foundation than their skin tone which actually went pretty well with the clothes they wore. I mostly liked the eye makeup. They wore bright pastels overall the eye area, black liner on top lashline and brow highlighted with white. Cheeks were in a pretty pink shade and lips were in a nude colour. Overall the makeup went really well with the clothes they wore but I wouldn't wear it for every day, mainly because the foundation was too light and the eyes were a little bit over the top. But if you would wear it with a matching foundation it could make a really nice party look.

Last, but definitely not least, Zuhair Murad

Too bad you can't see a better picture, but the makeup here was also fabulous (not to mention the clothes, omg I was amazed by his incredible work, his creations were to die for). Beautiful dramatic brown smokey eyes paired with nude lips and lightly colourd cheeks is in my opinion one of the makeup looks to go for. You can wear this type of makeup for every day (just tone it down a little bit using lighter colours), for the parties or night out with your girls (you may keep the intensity od the eyeshadow) as well as for special occasions. It's very trendy and hot looking and it's not difficult to achive it. Very very well done!

So that's my short opinion about the Paris Haute Couture for spring and summer 2010. I hope you like it and if you have any wishes, ideas, requests... on what you want me to write about, just let me know. =)

Review: O.P.I. Nail polish

Hi everyone!

Yes, it's been a loooong looong time since I posted something, I just can't tell you how very very sorry I am. This school just takes up a lot of my time.

Well, I'm writing because I'm sick and I have nothing particular to do. So I just thought that it might be a nice idea to bring this blog back to life =)

As for today, I'm going to review O.P.I. nail polishes for you guys (I don't know why I chose this to review, I guess I had no ideas on what to write about xD If you have any wishes, just let me know in the comments box =) ).

So, I bought my first O.P.I. about 8months ago I think, in shade 'Boris & Natasha'. I got it mainly because I heard a lot about these polishes on YouTube so I wanted to try it out as I was looking for a good polish for quite a while. As for the shade, I decided to pick this one based on the reviews on one of the Slovene beauty&style forums where it is a very popular one. Besides this one, I also own 'Kreme De La Kremlin' and 'Pink-ing of you'.

Boris & Natasha is a very deep burgundy shade with a purple undertone which makes the colour look amazingly gorgeous in a cloudy weather because the purple gets more enchanced somehow. I would say it's a perfect shade for fall and winter because of this cool feature but you can definitely wear it at any time of the year as it looks pretty in the sun too. The finish is cream (not shimmery, but not matte either).

Kreme De La Kremlin is a shade that is quite difficult to describe. Sometimes it looks like a coral kind of shade, sometimes comes out like a taupe with a hint of pink and sometimes something in between. That's why I really like it, it's so unique. I doubt you can find a polish similar to this one. The finish is cream.

Pink-ing of you is a beautiful light pink colour with a blue undertone (that doesn't mean it has blue inside, or reflects blue or whatever, it means that it's more of a cool pink). If you apply one coat of it you get a nice baby pink colour, but if you layer it up you will get like a barbie pink colour which is also really nice, but I prefer the baby pink one because it looks better with my skin tone. The finish is also cream.

Check out Nailgal for swatches of nearly every single nail polish out there. =)

These polishes have a really great brush that allows you to apply your nail polish evenly over the whole surface. The only thing you should be careful about is not to whipe the brush too much, because you need enough of the polish on the brush for an even application.
Of course you can build or layer them up to get a more intense colour with more coverage, especcialy with the sheer light colours (like Pink-ing of you). But if you don't want to intensify the colour, you might want to apply a lightly coloured base coat (something like beige, light pink or sheer white should work) so that you don't have to layer the sheer polish, but still get the coverage that you want. I hope that makes sense xD
Now I cannot say how long these will stay on your nails because here it's all about the top coat I believe. (I haven't found a good top coat yet...unfortunatly. If you have any ideas I'd be glad if you would let me know). Every nail polish eventualy chips off, but if you protect it with a top coat it should last for at least 3 days. These without a top coat last me for about two days.
As for the packaging, I really like the shape of the bottle itself, I think it looks very elegant, sophisticated and classy. It's nothing special but it looks very appealing to me. It's great because you can see the full colour (I have experianced the polishes that had stickers and all that crap around the bottle so it was very difficult to see the colour itslef), but I don't like the fact that the names are on the bottom. It's cool though, but I would prefer them to be under the 'Nail Laquer' signiture. It would just make it easier for me to find the shade I'm looking for at the store. Because now I feel kind of retared picking every single polish and turning it around to read the name =)
The range of colours is just fabulous, they have so many shades you would need a whole fortune to get them all. Well, for me that's nearly impossible because there's only about 30-50 shades in Slovenia and I believe there are more than 250 shades out there. So yeah, there's basicly no chance you won't find a shade for yourself =)
As you've noticed, there's nothing negative about these. The only drawback is the price. These are not really cheap, I think here are arounf 15€ which is quite expensive (e.g. my mascara is cheaper, it's 11,35€). But you definitely get what you pay for, so I would say it's worth the price if you are a perfectionist when it comes to a nail polish.

OVERALL: 5/5

RANGE OF COLOURS: 5/5

PRICE: 4/5

PACKAGING: 5/5

WILL I BUY AGAIN? Definitely!

That's all for my review, I hope it was hepful to you and again, if you have any wishes, requests, ideas... on what should I write about just let me know. =)
