How to shape eyebrows?

It was quite a popular topic on my previous channel, so I did a new one just for youuu!!!

I hope it helped you! (for a better quality check it out on my channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/GirlLizzie17

That's all for today, cuz I have to study chemistry now >_<

Spring Time look

Hellooo!!!

Finally, another makeup tutorial! It's been quite a while since last one, I know. But I've been really busy with school cuz we had load of test papers & stuff like that. But hey, I found some time :D

I used:

- ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base
- Unbranded palette: numbers 20, 41 & 58
- Modellite Eyeshadow palette: Pinks (light pink and white)
- Avon ColorTrend Duo Eyeshadow: Hot Chocolate (light part for highlight)
- ArtDeco Soft Eye Liner Waterproof: 21
- Maybelline Expression Kajal: black
- Maybelline Define-a-lash Volume mascara
- MAC Patisserie lipstick

Btw, here's also a picture of a look I wore last week, if you're interested:

- silvery-gray eye shadow on the lid
- MAC Shadowy Lady on the outer corner
- MAC Gorgeous as highlight
- Essence Long-lasting eye pencil (02 Hot Chocolate) on lower lash line
- Revlon Luxurious Color eyeliner (Black Velvet) smudged on the upper outer corner
- Manhattan X-act waterproof eyeliner (True white) on the waterline
- MaxFactor Masterpiece waterproof mascara on lashes (not too big fan of this mascara, it's too dry and it doesn't give volume to the lashes).

Don't forget to advice me about what should I get at Sephora if you have any ideas. And if you have any requests, let me know, and I'll put them on my list.

That's all folks!
(haha, I saw that at Looney Tunes, if you know those cartoons :D I looove them, oh and Tom&Jerry rock! )

Have a great day everyone!

TAG: Products I regret buying

So, I got tagged. I don't know by who and I'm very very sorry about that. It happened the last time, I promise.

There is quite a lot of stuff that I bought and would like to get my money back for them.

The most regretted product of the ones I regret is Miss Sporty Studio Lash Waterproof mascara

It was such a huge disappointment for me. The brush looked really good, it reminded me on Maybelline Define a lash Volume that I can't get in waterproof so I thought it would be a good replacement. Wrong! It sucks! If you wanna go into details about it you can check the post of my Makeup collection: Eyes - mascaras.

Next one is Miss Sporty So Clear foundation

I think this was my very first foundation. At the beginning I loved it, I thought it's amazing (but of course I knew almost nothing about makeup that time). Hell, I was wrong! This thing has a super super sheer coverage, so it's basically not visible at all. It's very difficult to blend it cuz it dries up sooo fast, you can't make it even if you don't do it fast and spot by spot ( you can't do it in one go, you gotta put it first there & blend it, than somewhere else 6 blend it...). And what's the worst which I figured out about two weeks ago when I used it (probably the last time). It gets dark after it dries! I was like in a shock when I saw my face. Luckily I managed to tone it down a bit with powder and highlighting, so it wasn't noticeable.

I was also very disappointed with this Sweetsents Hide a pore mineral foundation.

I've seen good reviews on this thing and thought I would try it since it was only 5€. Not a good buy for me also. It kinda made my skin look like it's peeling off, can you imagine? And it made my imperfections like scaring, little acne and pores stand out. It was a total mess, fortunately it was holiday so no one saw it.

This one MaxFactor Miracle Touch Illusion Foundation...

...I mostly hate because of the colour. It's like 3-4 shades too dark for me, I don't know how the women that "helped" me with picking did it. And she was so smart that she said: It's always better to have a foundation that is darker than lighter. If I heard this now, I would probably slap her! I mean, she works there man and she's telling people stuff like that. Of course I believed her, I knew nothing about makeup. I just still have it, so I can try it out for summer cuz consistency doesn't seem so bad at all. We'll see.

Next is Maxfactor Creme Puff Translucent powder

I heard good and bad stuff about this, but since I was looking for a new powder I bought it. Well, the smell could be a bit strong for some, but I was not too disturbed by it. The thing is, it broke me out. It didn't feel heavy or anything, but it did make those little hair around your face stand out really badly. So I gave it to my friend that loved it before but she just ran out of it.

I know you're gonna be surprised but on the list is also the ArtDeco Perfect Teint Concealer

I used to love this thing a lot...but I don't anymore because it broke me out also. This thing is actually pretty amazing, it has very buildable coverage and it's a nice colour (well, it does go a bit darker when it dries but if you have a lighter shade than your skin tone and if you're using it to cover acne it's better, cuz it'll match the skin tone). So I'm very sad about it, so I'm looking for a new one.

I wasn't a big fan of this Essence Clear Brow & Lash gel from the day I got it.

I bought it just to keep my brows in place, cuz I don't need a clear mascara. Wanna know how it turned out? My brows were exactly the same as without it. Although it's one but it's still a good reason to hate it cuz it doesn't serve it's purpose right? I don't know if you can see but it also got very dirty, probably because of the eyebrow powder.

One of these is also Miss Sporty Mini-me eyeliner

Not good again. Love the colour but you have to be like really rough if you want the colour to appear which is sooo not good cuz it makes damage to you skin & you have to be really careful with the skin around the eyes. So I really don't like this one.

Well, I think that's all, if you want I can also do a video on that, cuz I know you guys like to watch more than read :D We all do =)

Byeee!

Kisses!

P.S.: Here's also the video that has been requested by XxPuddingFaceXx. It includes only a few of products cuz I had to pick only 5 of them.

Sephora...

So, I'm going to Sephora in less than two weeks so I'm working on my wish list at the moment so that I won't just walk around and be all confused of what to buy, what I need & stuff like that.

At the moment my WL contains:

Urban Decay Primer Potion (regular one)

Everyone is talking about it, and most of them love it. I heard that it's amazing if you have oily eyelids, which I do, so I thought I would give it a go and try it. So I'm deffinitly getting one of these.

I also want to get the Sephora Monopoly

I just looove this game, at home we play it everytime we have time (if that makes sense lol). I think it's a really fun thing to have, especially since it's Sephora =) So that's also deffinitly on my list.

I've also been thinking of getting one of the 24/7 eyeliners from Urban Decay, cuz I'm still looking for a good brown water & smudge proof liner but they don't have a colour I'd like. I would loove to buy some of the colours but stuff are just very expensive at Sephora and I spent like A LOT of money for MAC so I can't afford much. I can add up to 5 products the most I would say.

Sooo, now I'd like you guys to let me know if:

- You own some of the products that are sold at Sephora and you like/love it and want to recommend me
- You're eyeing (a) product/s and heard good reviews on and want me to try it
- Any other reason to recommend me what should I get.

You can comment here or on YouTube, I dont' really care as long as it reaches me =)

Thank you everybody, I really appreciate it but don't forget, you have time 'till next Saturday (18th March 2009).

Luv u guys soooo much! xoxo

My Makeup Collection: LIPS

Hey all!!!! Yes, finally the LIP stuff of my makeup collection. I know it took me quite a while to actually post it but hey, I did it!

So, here they come! First to be....LIPSTICKS

Left to right:
1., 2. Essence Lipstick (32 Babydoll; 19 Sparkling Illusion)
3., 4. Miss Sporty Lipstick (011 Lolita; 010 Party Girl)

1., 2. :
These are very easy to apply cause they're very smooth & creamy. The finish of these is frost, it means they have a lot of shine&shimmers. They don't really last the whole day, you'll have to re-apply it during the day but they're really pretty.

3., 4. :
These aren't as creamy as Essence ones but they're more pigmented. The finish would be Satin I would say cuz they're not really matte and they're not very shimmery. So if you apply these you have to use some kind of a balm underneath so it will apply easier. I really like the colours but the staying power is also not wow! it's just somewhere okay.

Left to right:
1. Maybelline Watershine Diamonds (102 Pink Diamonds)
2. Miss Sporty Twinkle shine (100 Disco lights)
3. Oriflame Lip Classic (Seductive Nude)
4. MAC Lustre Lipstick (Patisserie)

1. :
I really like this one, it was one of my first lipsticks I bought. It has a lot of sparkles and it's very shiny but not over the top so it looks very nice and neutral once it's applied. I love the colour, the consistency, everything, exept...well...staying power (again). But that doesn't bother me cuz I would just re-apply it. Definitely check it out.

2. :
I was very disappointed with this one. The colour doesn't look strong and vibrant but it's not. It barely adds some colour and it has chunky sparkles in it. I don't use it cuz when I put it on it starts to burn my lips like crazy :S Not very good.

3. :
I got this one as a gift from makeup artist I went on makeup lesson. This one has more of a Satin finish as well, cuz it's very pigmented and it adds shine as well. Staying power is a bit better but as I said, it doesn't bother me. I really like the colour of it cuz it's very nude, so it's nice to use it when I have more dramatic eye makeup.

4. :
Famous MAC! Let me just say something: I loooove it!!! It is Lustre and it's nude and very very creamy, it doesn't dry out my lips and it last quite a while. It's an absolute must if you're starting out with MAC cuz it really is very good starter colour.

That's for the lipsticks, so let's move on LIP GLOSSES!

Left to right:
1. Essence Volume up! Lip maximizer (I have clear and pink one but the pink is in my pencil case)
2. Essence XXL Shine Lipgloss (07 Big Night Out)
3. S-he Stylezone Lipgloss (no name of the colour)
4. Max Factor Silk Gloss (330 Satin Pink)

1. :
I just love these! It's true that they don't really plump up your lips but they have menthol in so it feels really cooling when applied on the lips, so it's just love for me.

2. :
I like these cuz they have brushes instead of those sponge applicators or whatever, but they're a little bit too big, so it grabs way too much colour, but that's okay cuz I just wipe it off against the tube and voila, we have a very very nice gloss. Definitely check it out if you can.

3. :
Well, like the colour but it's hard to apply it even. I can do it now but at the beginning it's a bit difficult. I think these are available only in EU so if you're outside of it you probably can't buy it :(

4. :
This one is actually pretty good, it was my first gloss ever and I still like it. The only thing I don't like it the smell. Gosh, I really hate it! Blah! Well anyways, check it out maybe you won't be bothered by the smell.

Left to right:
1. Avon Colour trend Read my lips (Angel)
2. Nuxe gloss (don't know the colour)
3. Constance Carrol Lip Shiner (clear one)

1. :
Well, not my favourite cuz it's very difficult to apply it even and it sort of creases on lips. Do you know what I mean? When it leaves like a line on the inner part of the lips, I can't explain, but I hope you know what I mean. And it also kinda dried my lips out which is weird I mean, it's gloss? :/

2. :
I quite like it, I don't even feel it on my lips and it adds a beautiful shine & it has SPF15 too so it's very good. The smell is quite nice but I find it too strong for me. No special wow! staying power but I don't care :D

3. :
Not a fan of it at all. It's supposed to have SPF, Vitamins and blah blah blah but this cheap brand definitely doesn't. I got it on a "lottery" at one of the competitions and I didn't like it even then. It's thick and sticky so I just can't stand it. It's going to trash right now. Bye bye! :D

Left to right:
1. MAC Dazzleglass (Date Night)
2. MAC Tinted Lipglass (C-thru)

1. :
As I've said on YT, this thing is LOOOOVEEEE!!!! Omg, it's so freaking pretty! I love the brush applicator and consistency and everything! I don't find it sticky like waaay too much cuz that Constance Carrol is like really sticky. Well, the hair get stuck on it but you just push it away right? =) I looove it and I'm sooo mad that the camera can't show the real colour cuz in live is like 1000times more amazing! <3

2. :
Love again! It's a wonderful nude, perfect over my MAC lipstick. I was only disappointed with the weak staying power but it's great apart from that. If you can, get one of these.

And now last but not least, LIP LINERS!
The top one:
1. Miss Sporty Mini-me Lipliner (040 Plum Tart)
The bottom one:
2. Oriflame Read my lips Lipliner (Tongue in Cheek)

1. :
Well, the colour is very nice, about two, three hades darker than my lips, maybe more. It's very dry though so it's a bit difficult to apply it but it's okay once you get used to it.

2. :
Got it from a makeup artist as a gift too and I really like it. The consistency of it is very nice and it's smooth and easy to apply. The colour is brownish, reddish, coppery, something like that xD

Well, that's all for my lip stuff, I hope it helped you and I'll talk to you later!
Byee!
